This is Cornu Copiae, and I finished her late last night. She is done just in time to join in the Thanksgiving festivities! In the spirit of Thanksgiving I thought I would share some things that I am Thankful for. Of course we are all Thankful for our families and friends, for a warm houses we live in, a job, and even our pets...but what about the everyday things that go Unnoticed because we are so busy running around?
Here are some things that I am Thankful for that I 'noticed' this week:
I am thankful for... My kids singing their hearts out (as if they are Rock Stars) in the car ride to school to Taylor Swift's song Love Story.
I am thankful...To the "Can Man" who we see every morning on the way to school sun, rain, or snow collecting cans on the side of the road. He always has a smile on his face and a bag full of cans to recycle. Thank you for picking up our garbage!
And I am Thankful for snow storms, because it forces me not to spend money, slow down, and enjoy watching the kids trounce through knee-deep snow only to come in 10 minutes later with bright red fingers and toes!
