Of course Colorado had to be the first one, you know since I live here...GO COLORADO....WHOO_HOO!!
For this quilt I decided to do some tinted linen and embroidery work, so I broke out the crayons and started coloring straight away! This time I used Kona White Muslin to color on. I usually tint on cheap $2 creme muslin and have had great results, but the cheap white muslin had a lot bigger weave and I thought it would be difficult to get a nice smooth look. I am so glad I spent the extra money and got the Kona, it is so smooth and perfect to work on. Well worth it ($7-9 Yd.) if you are doing a lot of tinting and detail work!
Anyhow, block #1 is done! What state should I work on next?
