It's been almost 1 year since I set out to make the Market Bag from the Crafter's Companion book, and I finally got around to sewing it, and it only took a few hours to whip up!
I used my Trefle Kokka Dala Horse fabric that I recently purchased and
dug around in my stash for a contrasting piece...I found some Alexander
Henry "Dalarna Stripe" that I bought about a year ago and set aside.
Don't you love when things come together so perfectly? The colors and
patterns work so beautifully!
I added some colorful wooden beads to my drawstring, and think they are so cheerful and lovely! I have a nice large pocket inside to hold all my little extras too!
