Whhheewww...2 of 50 States are done! I did alot more embroidery on this one than my first one, which means now I have to go back and add some more stitching to Colorado...you know so everything is fair! There were no suggestions on the next state to tint, so I chose Washington. I absolutely loooove Washington, and it would be my first pick of places to move to. Beautiful and Gorgeous all around!
Besides just the basic stitches (chain stitch, and back-stitch) I decided to add a little satin stitching in places. I have never been very good at satin stitching, but seem to improve each time I try it!
I also tried to add a little shading to my Space Needle with two different colors of floss. I think it turned out okay, it was a little tricky to color to begin with. And lastly, I added a "Neon Watermelon" sunset behind my Seattle City Scape.
Anyone have a suggestion for the next state to tint?
