*Sophie measures approximately 18" tall*This is Sophie, my newest doll that I have been working on over the past week, and after a multitude of interruptions I finally finished her! She turned out so cute, and no sooner had I laid her down, she was whisked upstairs by my daughter to play.
Sophie is from the McCall's pattern
4186 (Sophie & Her Everyday Clothes) and it is 1 of 6 in the series. The great thing about this pattern series is that each pattern has a specific feature.

Here is Sophie wearing her everyday clothes. I have always been a sucker for pinafores! Why don't little girls wear pinafores anymore?
I love this flowery fabric, and I had just enough to make her dress. So bright and cheerful...perfect for Spring! Sophie even has a little doll to dress.

We can't forget the pantaloons!
Polka Dots of course...doesn't everyone wear polka-dotted pantaloons?
I'm already busy working on the next little dress!
