I am so pleased at how Matilda turned out! Eyelet Pantaloons, Mary Jane's, and a Fuzzy Fleece Heart Pocket...what more could you want?

Identify This?!

 I saw my son outside looking a little suspicious and sneaky this afternoon! Thinking he was getting in to trouble or trying to scare the neighbor girl, I asked him what he was doing.

"Look up in the tree mom, there is a big hawk"!

I quickly ran into the house and grabbed my camera. This is what I caught in our big tree in the back yard!

 

Cross-Eyed Cross-Stitchin'

This is what I have been working on over the last few days! I just about went cross-eyed and blind working on this 25-count fabric and had to take a few breaks because I was getting a nasty headache.

But, when I finished I had a beautiful face for a new doll!



This pattern is the Elizabeth Anne and Emma Louise doll pattern from the March/April Cross Stitch Magazine from...1987!

I also received an unexpected little package in the mail from my cousin.



Red laces and cute buttons... What a wonderful way to make my day!

I can't wait to see what dollies will get these lovely treats.

Aaand.....It's Over!

In my backyard I have a nice BIG healthy tree! It towers over into the neighbors yards on both sides of me. This morning when I left to take the kids to school the sun was glowing through the yellowing leaves and it was glorious!

Shortly after arriving home a mighty wind came and well...this is what is left of my tree.
