It has been awhile since I have made a doll, so I decided I better do some digging in the pattern box I was given by my mother. If you remember from this post there were a total of 74 different doll patterns! Too many to choose from....but after much deliberating I found Ginger. She is another Pattern Plus doll created by Rainie Crawford, and she made my heart pitter-patter when I found her.

There is nothing better than curling up in your favorite quilt and warming your body and soul. It is my safe place and my comfort!
A few years ago, my mother went to visit my grandmother in Idaho and returned home with three beautiful quilts, and my sisters and I got to choose one for our very own! These quilts are at least 75+ years old and were originally pieced by my Great-Great Grandmother, and then many years later hand quilted by her daughter, (my Great Grandmother) and my Great-Grandfather. The three quilt designs are Grandmother's Garden, Lone Star, and a Nine-patch. I chose the Nine-Patch, which is one of my favorite designs, mostly because it can be made as simple or as detailed as you want.
